HKMacs is run by Vince Loden, a former professional photographer who switched to Macintosh support in 1996 due to popular demand for his Macintosh expertise from friends and former clients. Vince quickly progressed onto management level in the role of IT Manager and found a position at Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG Private Banking. During his time there Vince successfully integrated the Macintosh network into the Bank Austria worldwide network and left in place a solid and dependable network. While at Bank Austria, Vince had access to all pre-release versions of OS X including the original adaptation of the NeXT OS (Rhapsody) which Apple Computer developed for the new Dual Core Intel chips. These were used on the iMacs and Apple portable computers as well as the Mac Pro and Xserve.
